Teal Copper Rheostat Bracelet
It's Frank's name for the bracelet - rheostat!! So I decided to keep it.
I used 14 gauge copper wire for the ends and the hammered clasp. Other part of the bracelet core and jump rings used 20 gauge copper wire, while the wire beads in teal were size 22.
This was the first time I made a swan clasp, and I really like the look. The 14 copper was a lot harder to work than 18 gauge, but it shaped quite nicely.

Wild Treasure Necklace
Frank calls this my "Halloween Necklace". I don't know why but it sure is funky and wild. I like the soft sounds it makes when worn, and was a riot to make. I used a mix of beads from "Beadazzled" in DuPont Circle and there was a large variety of colors. I was somewhat disappointed initially that they are plastic and wood, but it made for a lightweight necklace, and it allowed me to try all different sorts of techniques.

Ruffled Bead Bracelet: Take #2
The top bracelet is one I just recently completed. I used the same colorway as the piece under it in the picture. It is made with the RAW technique and uses fresh water pearls for the accents.

Koigu Socks
I love these bright socks, just in time for spring weather, I hope!! Details: Koigu KPPM, 2 skeins, 60 stitich circumference, toe up, in order to use every last bit of yarn. The inspiration came from a sock in "Socks-Socks-Socks", XRX Publisher, the Purl Lace Socks. It's a very simple feather and fan stitch which works really well for the yarn. I always worry about pooling, but haven't had any problems with koigu. On the other hand, I haven't really used a whole lot of koigu, but I adore it.

Aqua and Spring Green Woven Bracelet
I have been wearing this non-stop since its creation and is so very perfect for the upcoming spring. The main beads are handmade lampwork beads I purchased online at an auction. The other beads I had in my stash. I'm so happy with this piece. It took an afternoon to make.
