Serial Treasure Bracelets
Can you tell how much I am enjoying construction of these items? My technique is also improving drastically.

Button Treasure Woven Bracelet
Bought a bunch of colorful buttons and am trying them in treasure woven bracelets. This one went pretty fast, completing it in a couple of hours.

Tiger Candy Corn Treasure Bracelet
These are my first polymer beads, which I really like in this bracelet, even though the beads are not so great. The bracelet is sadly a little too small for me.

Orange Retro Beads
These are my first beads from Fimo clay. Well, not actually my first beads, which I made yesterday and don't merit a posting, but these turned out really well! They are unsanded currently and I will have to experiment with that. The colors were insprired by orange and white lampwork beads which I just purchased, since orange is not normallly a color I choose.

Caribbean Treasure Woven Bracelet
I have taken quite a few pictures of this piece, but can't really portray the color correctly. The beads are a Laura Liska blend bought in Wayne PA at UBead2.

Petals Treasure Woven Bracelet
I bought these beads in Wayne, PA at UBead2. The folks there are super nice and I highly recommend them! The beads were from a bead soup mix called Petal. The bracelet is now in my mother's collection.

Topaz and Purple Fingerwoven Bracelet
Handmade lampwork beads on purple cord. It is important to remember that large diameter beads make the bracelet smaller for the same length. This one almsost didn't fit me!!

Teal Copper Rheostat Bracelet
It's Frank's name for the bracelet - rheostat!! So I decided to keep it.
I used 14 gauge copper wire for the ends and the hammered clasp. Other part of the bracelet core and jump rings used 20 gauge copper wire, while the wire beads in teal were size 22.
This was the first time I made a swan clasp, and I really like the look. The 14 copper was a lot harder to work than 18 gauge, but it shaped quite nicely.

Wild Treasure Necklace
Frank calls this my "Halloween Necklace". I don't know why but it sure is funky and wild. I like the soft sounds it makes when worn, and was a riot to make. I used a mix of beads from "Beadazzled" in DuPont Circle and there was a large variety of colors. I was somewhat disappointed initially that they are plastic and wood, but it made for a lightweight necklace, and it allowed me to try all different sorts of techniques.

Ruffled Bead Bracelet: Take #2
The top bracelet is one I just recently completed. I used the same colorway as the piece under it in the picture. It is made with the RAW technique and uses fresh water pearls for the accents.

Koigu Socks
I love these bright socks, just in time for spring weather, I hope!! Details: Koigu KPPM, 2 skeins, 60 stitich circumference, toe up, in order to use every last bit of yarn. The inspiration came from a sock in "Socks-Socks-Socks", XRX Publisher, the Purl Lace Socks. It's a very simple feather and fan stitch which works really well for the yarn. I always worry about pooling, but haven't had any problems with koigu. On the other hand, I haven't really used a whole lot of koigu, but I adore it.

Aqua and Spring Green Woven Bracelet
I have been wearing this non-stop since its creation and is so very perfect for the upcoming spring. The main beads are handmade lampwork beads I purchased online at an auction. The other beads I had in my stash. I'm so happy with this piece. It took an afternoon to make.

Turquoise/Black Netted Bead Necklace
I started out with five handmade lampwork beads in a riot of color, and made several beaded beads to match. This is a great necklace. For further information about the netted beads, check out http://www.beadinfinitum.com/

Fiesta Feet Socks
Lucy Neatby, the designer of these socks, is a knitting genius. She found stitch patterns which highlighted variegated yarn to its best look. The variegated yarn would have pooled in an ugly manner. I found the pattern well written, but quite tedious to follow. Yarn is from Joslyn's Fiber Farm and is wool, mohair, and nylon twinkletoes, and hand dyed as well.

Finger Woven Treasure Bracelet
Completed the day after my class in Woven Treaure Necklaces. I like the stark look of the bracelet and I love the colors. The beads actually stand upright on the piece when worn.

Bead Crochet Bracelet
From a kit. I almost threw this thing across the room about a dozen times due to extreme frustration. I like the finished object, but someone please shake me if I ever talk about bead crochet again!!

Woven Treasure Bracelet
This is from my bead class last week, and is woven. There is a fantastic book by Robin Atkins which documents this technique beautifully. Warning, warning. Habit forming. You can look at her website for more information.

Flow Motion Socks
From Vogue Knitting Fall 2006 by designer Cat Bordhi, and knit as per pattern using double strand of Trekking XXL on size 5 needles. I love the construction of these socks. There are no usual gusset increases but there are increases in the lace pattern starting at the top of the instep. I love the way these look. I did not match the striping because it would pain me to discard a couple of repeats of yarn.
For those of you interested in knitting this pattern, there are some errors during publication. Go to Cat's website for details:
